This is my very varied scent collection. They range from expensive designer perfumes to cheap celebrity creations- basically if I like the smell I will buy it, regardless of the brand!
As well as smelling lovely, I think the bottles look gorgeous lined up on my shelves and add glamour to my bedroom. Here's a few I've picked to review...
Stella McCartney-Stella Eau de Parfum
This is my favourite scent by far. I wear it almost every day. I love the bottle design because it's quite simple but the faded purple glass makes it look edgy and stylish. Stella McCartney describes it as "inspired by the fragile beauty of a rose...contrasted by sensuality of amber". I'd definitley say it's a rosy scent and smells fresh when I'm wearing it. When you first spray it, it is very strong smelling but eventually it tones down during the day leaving a gorgeous, understated fragrance. As it's quite strong, some people might find it too much for day time, but to avoid it becoming overwhelming I limit it to a couple of sprays.
Beyonce- 'Heat' Eau de Parfum
This is proof that you can get a beautiful scent without the huge price tag. I LOVE this perfume-the second I run out I get myself straight to boots to purchase another bottle. I'm already on my third bottle! According to Beyonce's website "This floral, fruity, wood perfume features rare, sensual flowers and is both feminine and irresistible". To put that in terms you and I might understand, I'd say that it's a really sweet and fruity scent. It puts me in a happy mood as soon as I spray it on and I often catch myself sniffing my wrists through the day!
Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum
As soon as I saw this bottle I fell in love and it's a bonus that the smell inside is so gorgeous too. I could see this sitting on a flapper girl's dressing table in the 1920's! Be warned it is a rather heavy smell and is definitely suited as an evening scent. I would personally describe it as rich, sweet and floral. One thing I noticed is how many compliments I get when I'm wearing this one.
And a word of warning......
As much as I love Kim Kardashian and the whole Kardashian empire in general, I was VERY disappointed in her debut perfume. Everything about it seems a bit cheap and as if she's only made it for the sake of having her own perfume rather than because it's a great smell. It's quite sickly sweet and a slight hint of plastic. Perfect if you want to be a life size Barbie Doll!
